In March 2011, the City of Haverhill and Aggregate Industries awarded the Southern Mound Closure project to E.T.& L. Corp. Located at the former Haverhill Municipal Landfill, the Southern Mound contains 35 acres of landfilled waste. Before capping the site, the project first calls for extensive regrading and shaping of 250,000 cubic yards of material. White Contracting Company for this project for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
