Environmental Work
In 1986, E. T. & L. Construction Corp. formed
its Environmental Division in response to an
emerging market of work in the field of
environmental protection, cleaning and
restoring polluted sites. The Division's main
focus is on landfill caps and expansions,
cleaning up Super Fund Sites and working in
and around hazardous materials. To protect
their employees on these types of projects,
E. T. & L. relies on education and training
programs such as the OSHA Hazardous
Waste Operations Training, Confined Space,
and Lead and Asbestos Abatement Training.
Over time, the Company has fused decades of heavy
construction experience with a dedicated effort to
train their employees in this environmental field.
E. T. & L. has produced a division that has successfully
completed over seventy-five major landfill closures and lined
expansion projects. The Company resume includes
landfill projects that range in size from 1 acre to 55
acres. Working throughout New England for Private
Owners, Municipalities and Federal Agencies, E. T. & L.
has earned a shining reputation for their quality landfill
and environmental projects.
